From the movie Serendipity:

"You know the Greeks didn't write obituaries. They only asked one question after a man died: 'Did he have passion?'"

Did he have passion?

I've thought about it... Do I have passion? Is there something inside of me that drives me and keeps me going no matter how impossible things seem or how foolish people think I am? I hate to admit it, but the answer is "no."

And this all begs the questions: "How does one acquire passion?" Is passion given to you as a gift? Does inspiration breed it? Do you grow it like you would a plant?

I remember a few years ago one of my pastors said that the one thing he really feared was that he would lose his passion for God. My fear is that I'll never be passionate about anything... After all, if there is no passion, then where is life?
